Artist Statement for Lighthouse
Lighthouses have always been a beacon of home for me. My dad was a lighthouse keeper in the US coast guard in the 1970's, one of the last manual crews before the lights became automated. This series is based on photographs I took while visiting each of these iconic sports throughout the PNW. May your adventure lead you out, may your out feel like home and wherever you are, never let that light go out.
