Hej, I am Khristy, an outgoing homebody. I'm sparked by the unknown-you know, going to new places, meeting new people, learning new skills...especially when they involve bikes, boats and water. 

As far as my life as a creator, I started my art studies as a darkroom photographer then traded the enlarger for paintbrushes in the mid 2000's when times were going digital. I work from my photographs be it animals, nature scenes, boats or people. Currently I am loving exploring texture and movement.  

I live on a small island in the Pacific Northwest known around these woods as Orcas where I continue to explore and find inspiration in just about everything.
